the great kindness challenge

The Great Kindness Challenge is a national initiative that encourages students, staff, and families to participate in acts of kindness. During this special week (January 27-31), our schools will focus on building a more compassionate and inclusive school environment.

What is the Great Kindness Challenge?

  • A week-long celebration of kindness

  • Includes a variety of activities, such as random acts of kindness, helping others, and spreading positivity.

  • Provides students with opportunities to develop empathy and compassion.

  • Fun, kindness-inspired spirit days will be shared on social media.

How can you participate?

  • Students:

Perform acts of kindness throughout the week.

Ideas include helping a classmate, writing encouraging notes, and volunteering in the community.

  • Staff:

Participate in kind acts with your students and colleagues.

  • Families: Encourage your children to practice kindness at home and in the community.

  • Everyone: Take pictures of students participating in spirit days or acts of kindness throughout the week and share them on Instagram using #ycjusdallin25 to score points for your school!

Benefits of the Great Kindness Challenge:

  • Creates a more positive and inclusive school climate.

  • Teaches students valuable social-emotional learning skills.

  • Promotes empathy, compassion, and respect.

  • Builds stronger relationships between students, staff, and families.

The Great Kindness Challenge is an excellent opportunity for our entire school community to unite and make a positive impact. Let's show the world what kindness can do!
